Service Schedule

• Time: Sundays at 10:00 AM
• 3rd Sunday: Holy Eucharist (Rite II)
• Other Sundays: Morning Prayer

Worship Liturgy

Sunday worship at [[st-marks-plainview|St. Mark's]] is divided into two sections:

• Liturgy of the Word: Old Testament reading, Psalm, New Testament reading, Gospel, sermon (often by the chaplain), Nicene Creed, prayers, confession, absolution, and passing of the peace.
• Liturgy of the Table (Communion): Celebration of Holy Communion (bread and wine) at the altar rail. All baptized individuals are welcome to receive communion. The service concludes with a blessing by the priest.
